Ashley Williams is a senior English major with a concentration in Creative Writing. She is a part-time, nontraditional student and has attended IUPUI since 2013. She wanted to be a pastry chef when she grew up, but now she barely has the patience to bake a dozen cookies. She reads a little bit of everything, especially fantasy and YA fiction. Some of her favorite authors include Victoria Schwab, NK Jemisin, Adam Silvera, Angie Thomas, Sarah J. Maas, Brandon Sanderson, Brent Weeks, Patrick Rothfuss, Nalini Taylor, Tahereh Mafi, and many more. The fictional place she would most like to go to would be Middle Earth. She'd like to see places like The Shire, Rivendell, Mirkwood, Erebor the Lonely Mountain, etc. She became an editor by taking the W280 Literary Editing and Publishing course as part of her degree requirements and fell in love with the idea of working on a magazine that was created by students featuring work from the students.

Ashley has a short story in the anthology Flicker: Stories of InnerFlame which can be accessed here on Amazon.
